Culinary Team: After honing his skills at some of Oregon and Hawaii’s most beloved restaurants, chef Adam Kekahuna has returned to Portland and the flavors he knows best. A native Oregonian, chef Adam earned his culinary degree in Portland’s vibrant urban center and has spent more than fifteen years in fine dining establishments. His culinary passion is using local Pacific Northwest ingredients to create modern takes on classic dishes, inspired by the flavors and techniques from around the country, from the American south to the Big Island.
Management Team: Portland restaurateur Frank Taylor draws on decades of experience in the local culinary scene to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience at Quartet. Committed to melding the building’s luxe décor with an accessible and affordable approach to classic American cuisine, Frank’s warm energy and welcoming smile are the guiding forces behind the restaurant.
In addition to overseeing the success of Quartet, Frank is the Director of Operations for Keeler Hospitality Restaurant Group and managing partner of Portland Prime in the Embassy Suites Hotel in downtown Portland. His extensive background in restaurant ownership as well as hotel hospitality operations around the country culminate the unique atmosphere of Quartet.
